Behind every project number, every grant, every report, every decision there are people – researchers, coordinators, visionary leaders, partners, evaluators, experts, and also the PRIMA Secretariat, the National Funding Agencies, a Scientific Advisory Committee and our Board of Trustees.

A Mediterranean mosaic: together facing challenges, together finding solutions.

Yesterday in Barcelona, we welcomed 65 projects from the 2023 and 2024 cohorts, gathering nearly 100 participants.

A big thank you to our Section 2 partners, the National Funding Agencies, for being with us throughout the two days and for engaging directly with their projects.

Special thanks to the NextGen4MED team and the Wefe4med coordinators and partners  for joining us and planting the seeds of community through their two initiatives: one supporting young researchers, the other building a WEFE Nexus community of practice!

We were also glad to count on the support of our Scientific Advisory Committee members Maroun El Moujabber Mi Yong Becker Diego Intrigliolo, the European Commission, our Chair Abdelhamid EL-ZOHEIRY , and of course the PRIMA staff.
