Models​​

 

The actions implemented within the AQUEDUCT project aim to improve existing models and to deploy new models in specific study sites.

These efforts enable the generation of water accounts at various spatial and temporal scales, facilitating the quantification of cross-scale effects of climate change adaptation solutions

Modeling Scope

Models are viewed as essential tools for generating water accounts related to :

  • Water resources (such as soil water, groundwater, and water reservoirs),

  • Water needs (including crop and irrigation area requirements),

  • and water uses (such as transpiration and groundwater withdrawals).
